Description: Provides free services to sexual assault survivors, including adults sexually violated as children. Provides services regardless of who, what, where, and when sexual violence occurred. Also serves family members, partners, and friends. Services cover Butte, Glenn, and Tehama County. Services include: 24/7 Crisis Line Advocacy for victims/survivors of any type of sexual violence Advocacy for victims/survivors of human trafficking Accompaniments to forensic exams at hospitals, law enforcement interviews, and/or court proceedings Follow-ups One-on-one counseling Support groups for any/all sexual violence, past or present, for survivors and family/friends Workshops for children, teens, and adults. Topics include assertiveness, self-esteem, boundaries, gender bias, sexual harassment, and rape/sexual violence. Community outreach/education and tabling events.
